As our Media Strategist, you will be responsible for developing successful online and offline media strategies and campaign plans to attract new guests for our broad portfolio of holiday resorts. Working closely together with regional marketing managers and the marketing data analyst, you ensure that our media campaigns reach promising audiences. You bring creativity, in-depth knowledge of media and research tools, strategic audience targeting insights, and valuable support to the marketing managers. Your focus is always on optimizing the performance and impact of our media campaigns.

With a clear vision to become Europe's leader in holiday breaks in nature, we are on an exciting journey of growth and transformation. This role is new to our organisation.

You will be part of the newly formed Brand & Destination Marketing Team EU (8) and report to the Head of Brand & Destination Marketing.

• You gather internal and external data to continuously inform and improve media strategies. You present these insights clearly and attractively through one-pagers.
• You develop media strategies with concrete budget allocations and reach objectives per campaign, aiming to fill the upper and middle parts of the marketing funnel with new, local potential guests.
• You plan, test, and evaluate each campaign.
• You manage media partners and channel specialists to ensure smooth campaign execution and achieve the desired results.
• You go the extra mile to prove the effectiveness of campaigns using accurate data.
• You collaborate closely with specialists from the Activation and Performance Marketing team to align test-and-learn reports and increase campaign efficiency.
• You are the knowledge and insights center for all regional marketing managers, e.g., in UK, DACH and DK.
• You proactively foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance within the team.

Dit ben jij

You have a completed academic degree in Marketing, Communication Sciences or Media and Communication, preferably with a specialization in Digital Marketing and Media Management. You have 5 or more years of experience working in an international media landscape.

With your background in a strategic role within a marketing agency or as a senior digital media planner, you are well-versed in developing successful (social) media strategies across multiple countries for large B2C markets, such as (e)-retailers.

You excel at linking media results, both soft and hard conversions, to business objectives. Additionally, you have extensive knowledge of both quantitative and qualitative research techniques and are adept at analysing digital media strategies and consumer behavior.
