GLOBAL SUPPLY CHAIN ENGINEER – Den Hoorn (FLEXIBLE)

Your mission

As Supply Chain Engineer you will be responsible to develop new and improve existing logistics within our Client.

Main responsibilitie

• Active in M&A; look into possibilities to integrate the acquired companies in the Clients
• Identify and suggest possible improvements within the network, being active exploring opportunities to use new technologies and processes from an outside in perspective within our Client.
• Responsibility to drive developments creating a supply chain environment to meet future demands within the network of our Client and processes by looking into trends, new services and new
• Work as an internal consultant partner to our Client’s organization in logistics
• Keep supply chain knowledge by exploring and sharing within our Client up to date.

Your profile

A University degree preferably in supply chain management, logistics, engineering or business administration. You have in depth and up-to-date knowledge of supply chains and market trends.

You have good commercial skills, with the ability to translate needs from customers and the organization into feasible solutions. Also, you have the ability to translate new trends and technology into opportunities for our Client.

You need to efficiently work with people in different locations and time zones, communicate with people on different levels and in different part of the organization as well as outside our Client. If required, you can travel some days each month. Next to that you will be capable of operating successfully in a multi-cultural and matrix organization while being proactive and a result-oriented team player. You are a solid business partner on all levels, flexible and customer service oriented
