The role of Team Lead Supply Chain Planning is based in the vibrant city of Rotterdam. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the end-to-end planning process, ensuring efficient delivery of products and maintaining optimal inventory levels.
What you'll do :
As a Team Lead Supply Chain Planning, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the entire planning process. You will ensure that inventory levels are maintained according to agreed service levels at optimal cost. Your role will also involve managing the allocation process, escalating demand issues when necessary, and continuously improving planning-related processes and systems. You will also be responsible for ensuring cross-functional alignment with all disciplines and stakeholders to further enhance cooperation and business results.
What you bring :
The ideal candidate for this Team Lead Supply Chain Planning position will have a Bachelor's / Master's degree in Supply Chain / Logistics Management or a similar field. They should have at least 5 years of experience in Planning / Supply Chain work, including at least 2 years leading a team. Proficiency in English is essential as well as profound knowledge of SCM processes such as planning, inventory management, and logistics. Experience working with international companies engaged in export-import, trading activities and production / manufacturing is also required. The candidate should have excellent ERP knowledge (SAP preferred) and advanced planning tools (Anaplan preferred). A proven track record with process improvements in an international environment is a must.
