Detailed knowledge of contract, financial and securities law. You are practical, solution-oriented and commercially minded and able to translate legal content into pragmatic solutions. Good knowledge of the English language, both oral and written.
Position : Senior Legal Counsel
Location : Amsterdam, NL
Compensation : Candidate Dependant and Competitive
Responsibilities :
- Drafting and assessing confidentiality agreements, engagement letters, underwriting / placement agreements, legal opinions, comfort letters and other transaction-related documentation.
- Advising on transactions, with an emphasis on investment banking transactions, particularly in the equity capital markets.
- Advising on contract law.
- Advising on various issues relating to the EU Prospectus Regulation, MAD / MAR and generally in the field of financial law relating to investment banking services and products.
- Identifying and anticipating relevant developments in legislation and case law relating to investment banking and supporting their implementation.
- You will also act as a direct sparring partner for the colleagues in other departments such as Compliance.
