Job Description :
We are seeking a highly skilled Offshore Substations (OSS) Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team for an exciting offshore wind project in the Netherlands . This role requires a strong electrical engineering background , with expertise in OSS design, fabrication, and construction .
The successful candidate will play a key role in all electrical tasks related to OSS, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations. The position will be based in the Netherlands , with a primary location at the Stormpolder fabrication site from August 2026 to November 2027 . During this period, the role will require travel for one week per month .
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and oversee all electrical engineering activities related to offshore substations (OSS).
- Ensure the design, fabrication, and integration of electrical components align with project requirements.
- Conduct technical reviews, risk assessments, and quality checks during the fabrication process.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams , including structural, mechanical, and commissioning engineers.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and grid connection requirements .
- Provide support in troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues during fabrication and installation.
- Work closely with fabricators, subcontractors, and key stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.
- Travel for one week per month from August 2026 to November 2027 to oversee and support project execution.
