Production Engineer

Job Description

Our growing team is seeking a highly organized and proactive candidate to fill the role of Production Engineer. Our company is headquartered Amsterdam, where we specialize in manufacturing architectural systems. Our talented team consists of designers, engineers, and architects with a vast and exciting knowledge base.

The ideal Production Engineer is a key team member who translates office intent to the manufacturing floor, has a keen eye for detail, has a passion for making things, and is skilled at communicating in a manufacturing environment. Hours are Monday through Friday : 9am - 5pm. Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to) office to factory communications and detail coordination, project scheduling, and quality assurance, project tracking of multiple projects and scales.

Production Engineer candidates must possess a strong skill base in the following :

• Interfacing between Design Project Teams and Fabrication Project Teams.
• QC and compliance checking of fabricated assemblies to drawings.
• Strong Communication Skills and Attention to Detail.
• Interfacing with shop drawing and BOM's.
• Interfacing with an ERP system.
• Design for manufacturing experience
• Understanding of Sheet Metal Design and Fabrication.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and requirements.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
• Must be a self-starter with strong problem solving skills.
• CAD Experience with Solidworks
• Also a Plus : Rhino / AUTOCAD - CAM Programming / autodisfusion / BySoft
