The Remanufacturing team in the Tilburg Factory is responsible for testing and analyzing non-functional components originating from both vehicles and energy products, including high voltage batteries and electric motors. The Remanufacturing technician will be exposed to Tesla’s cutting-edge technology and is responsible for performing repairs on these components by following provided process instructions, schematics, and flow charts.

Together with the engineers of the department, you will identify new failure modes, implement corrective / preventive actions, and help develop new repair instructions. In this role, you will use precision measurement devices, hand tools, and computer-based electrical test equipment.

The Remanufacturing Technician works in a team and reports to the Supervisor.

The Remanufacturing Technician works in a team and reports to the Supervisor.

What You’ll Do

  • Be able to achieve desired output at station within Takt; escalate when not possible
  • Strictly adhere to Manufacturing Instructions to perform their job; highlight any discrepancies
  • Capable of performing pre-use checklist for workstation(s) or tasks
  • Able to perform autonomous maintenance for the workstation
  • Able to perform and sustain 5S at their workstation(s)
  • Complete a minimum of 1 Take Charge per quarter
  • Capable of detecting abnormalities in their process and escalate to Sr. or Lead Technician

What You’ll Bring

  • Basic understanding of safety around the factory and as it applies to their job function
  • Performs Level 1 jobs independently within Takt after certification
  • Strong communication skills to explain processes and any issues that arise
  • Performs autonomous maintenance for workstations assigned
  • Able to use manufacturing systems according to written manufacturing instructions
  • Understands basic electricity and how it relates to their workstation and job functions
  • Ability to adhere to all ESD procedures
