Job Description

We are now looking for an EHS (Environment,Health, Safety) trainee to join our Operation team in Avery Dennison RTV Netherland in Zoeterwoude. We offer a part-time position in which you will support EHS related tasks. Your responsibilities may include a variety of EHS matters, but the main focus in this position is supporting the Operations Team in implementing and monitoring the environmental, health & safety management system. The position is located in Zoeterwoude.

This position reports to

Ops Manager / EHS Regional Manager

Your responsibilities

Work with the Site Operations Team to implement and monitor the health, safety & environmental management systems
Involved in organizing and conducting HSE-related activities, trainings and preventive programmes to create awareness among employees
Support in planning, coordinating and implementation of site safety, occupational health, environmental, fire prevention, emergency response and security management issues.
Undertake other HSE-related projects / activities as required
Familiarizing yourself with related areas, such as environmental and ergonomic issue
Collaborating with our operations team

Qualifications

Your background

On-going university studies (you are at the minimum on your 2nd year) from a relevant technical field

Genuine interest for health, safety and environment matters

Good communication skills, including good presentation skills and the ability to create detailed documentation

Independent approach to work with a practical mindset

Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Good Dutch skills are considered an advantage
