As a Technical Sales Manager at Feedvalid, you will work alongside the Sales Manager to drive growth in the pet food sector. Combining technical expertise with commercial insight, you’ll play a vital role in developing innovative and sustainable solutions tailored to our clients’ needs. Feedvalid is an entrepreneurial company dedicated to transforming side streams into high-quality animal feed, and we are expanding our footprint in the pet food market. You’ll join a hands-on, customer-focused culture with the freedom to execute your ideas.

What are you going to do?

In this role, you’ll be focused on growing Feedvalid’s presence in the pet food industry, working directly with major pet food producers. Feedvalid works with over 400 suppliers and utilize circular production streams, such as rice cake and potato side streams. Your role will have a strong technical and commercial impact, enabling you to drive new revenue and seize market opportunities.

Tasks and responsibilities :

  • Develop and manage Feedvalid’s pet food portfolio and co-create pet food branding with ProCeres
  • Act as a bridge between customers and the R&D team, relaying relevant market developments
  • Independently manage strategic accounts and support fellow account managers
  • Act as a sparring partner, internally and externally, to craft innovative solutions tailored to client needs
  • Leverage market insights to optimize products and services and build new client relationships

Profile

  • Strong background in pet food or food industry, with in-depth knowledge of compound feed, additives, and nutritional science
  • Technically and commercially savvy, capable of contributing strategically to Feedvalid’s growth while leveraging strong nutritional expertise
  • Skilled in knowledge transfer, with the ability to translate market and client insights into nutritional and technical product development solutions
  • A hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset with a strong focus on customer relationships, innovative solutions, and nutritional excellence
  • Proven ability to translate client needs into nutrient-based and technical product solutions
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with international clients and teams
