As an IP Market Analyst, you will be part of Philips Intellectual Property and Standards organization. You will provide market intelligence tailored to various licensing programs, such as model-based market sizing and forecasting, market trend analysis, and company deep dives.

You will work as a member of various licensing teams on various projects in different market segments.

Your role :

  • Preparing market intelligence reports, which includes e.g. collecting data, analyzing the information and reporting in order to advise the IP&S licensing business with IP and market-based insights to decide upon licensing strategy and IP offerings.
  • Developing and improving market analysis methods, tools and data sources, as part of a team of IP and market analysis experts.
  • Keeping up to date with latest insights on business, markets and technologies to support the IP&S licensing business pro-actively.

You're the right fit if :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or similar education.
  • At least 5 years of work experience in market intelligence or a related function.
  • Fluency in English (minimum C1), and knowledge of Dutch or Chinese are preferred.
  • Experience with working in an intellectual property environment is preferred, but not a must.
  • Proven strong analytical skills, and a creative thinker.
  • Good communication, consultancy, and networking skills.
  • Able to work independently and proactively.
  • Able to work unbiased.
  • Able to set priorities and distinguish main deliverables from side ones.
  • Organized, accurate and detail-oriented.

    We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

    This role is an office role.
