Marketing Manager B2B (Agriculture Industry)

Your focus as a Marketing Manager will be in the Turf & Ornamental business. You will define a clear marketing and communication strategy with road maps and translate the strategy into tactical plans taking sales, market trends and customer needs into account. You will strengthen the corporate and product brand positioning and will work in close collaboration with global and local partners.

You will work for our international partner who is a global leader for plant nutrition in the Turf and Landscape and Ornamental market(T&O). They create an impact for a sustainable future with advanced technologies and strong brands that green the world.

Job responsibilities Marketing Manager B2B (Agriculture Industry)

In this role, you will bring together all disciplines that are needed to take customer experience to a higher level, create effective campaigns and actions to transform to customer centric marketing communication. You will work in a complex matrix organization and connecting and influencing all different stakeholders is an important part of the role. In this role you will report directly to the VP and indirectly to the SVP Global Head. You will be working in a small team of 3, this means you too will have operational responsibilities.

Your main responsibilities are :

  • Lead the Marketing Communications team of marketing communication managers / specialists for the T&O markets. You have 3 people based in The Netherlands and connect with other specialists through Europe;
  • Set out an effective marketing communication, content and campaign strategy to increase customer engagement;
  • Support international marketing management by aligning strategies, plans and campaigns;
  • Create effective marketing communication campaigns and activities to create awareness and sales opportunities for the T&O segments and its brands on all relevant channels (offline and online : social media, website, email marketing, lead management, customer journey research & mapping);
  • Guide and inspire the marketing communication managers and coordinators across geographies and countries;
  • Increase reach and output, in both internal and external target audiences such as distribution partners and end-users;
  • Lead T&O digital transformation roadmap and related projects such as lead management;
  • Define clear KPIs, measure and track on a regular basis and adjust when needed;
  • In the online marketing field, work together with the global digital team to improve the company’s online presence;
  • Organizing PR initiatives;
  • Manage relations with agencies;
  • Manage all resources being people, time and budget.

Job requirements Marketing Manager B2B (Agriculture Industry)

We are looking for an experienced Marketing and Communications professional that understands how to work in a complex international matrix organization. You are a true expert in the field of marketing and communications and combine this with a hands-on mentality.

In addition, we look for :

  • Experience in a B2B setting is a must;
  • Experience in a relevant industry is a must;
  • Good leadership skills : the ability to build bridges, bring people together, to inspire, convince and motivate others;
  • Multi-tasking to oversee different activities / campaigns and promotions at the same time;
  • Creativity to (help) create impactful materials, original concepts, and visual storytelling;
  • Experience with digital communication, SEO / SEA, social media, analytics;
  • Very good planning and organizational skills;
  • Fluent in English, other languages are more than welcome.
