Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities

Design and develop mechanical components, enclosures, and systems, considering the following :

• Thermal calculations and simulations
• Assemblies
• System integration

Product oriented thinking (problem solving, balancing functionality and aesthetics)

Collaboration and good communication with cross-functional teams (converters, electronics, controls, software)

Participate in prototyping, testing, validation, and occasional field work opportunities

Contribute to product lifecycle and design from concept to production

Qualifications

BSc or MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent

2+ years relevant working experience

Strong knowledge of mechanical parts, computer-aided design, and 3D modeling (SolidWorks, Fusion360)

Machining skills, hardware experience, metal work, electrical system experiences (busbars, cabling, cabinets, batteries, etc…)

Proficiency in Dutch is preferred

Being communicative, team-worker, creative, flexibility
