What do we expect?

• You have mbo 4 qualification in the field of electrical engineering or similar;
• Reading E-plan drawings is no problem for you;
• You are able to resolve faults and problems quickly;
• You are willing to travel abroad;
• You have good communication skills and command both Dutch and English (German is a plus).

We are looking for a driven Electrician with a passion for high-tech mechanical engineering.

With skill and precision you will take care of the electrical assembly of components, sensors and cabling in our automotive machines, always with an eye for the highest quality standards because that’s what we stand for! You can think of single welding cells to complex automated production lines. This provides variety and challenge in your work and makes you feel like a fish in water within AWL.

But that’s not all! You will be working together with an enthusiastic project team and together you will ensure that our machines are transported smoothly and commissioned successfully at locations around the world. You make an important contribution to this. After all, you get to install the machine you made at the customer’s site. How cool is that?

In this independent position, you will be part of a project team consisting of various disciplines that work well together. Think for example of fellow Mechanical Engineers, but also PLC / Robot Programmers and a Project Coordinator.

This will be your day

7 : 30 You will start the day with a morning meeting at the project. Here you will discuss the work and challenges for the working day, after which you will get to work building machines with the project team. 11 : 00 Time to start preparing for an external job! After a short meeting with the project team, you start gathering the necessary materials and prepare them for shipment. 13 : 00 After your break, you discover a problem that is going to hamper progress. You discuss this with your Lead Technician or Project Coordinator. You make a ticket and describe the issue in it, after which you follow it up. 16 : 00 The day flies by and it's time to clean up. You ensure a clean workplace so you can start the next working day fresh. 16 : 15 Time to wash hands and go home!
