Job Description

As part of our Internal Communications department for AD Smartrac, you will focus on employee engagement and the use of new digital tools (our intranet called OurWorld, articles, video material) to enhance communications within the company. You will also be responsible for maintaining a site and a global community by coming up with ideas to bring people together while being involved in the communication of internal projects and events.

The different tasks you will be performing :

  • Generic Internal Communications Helping with the set-up maintenance of online platforms for the Business Unit and exploring new media like podcasts, vlogging, communication tools to enhance internal alignment and engagementGaining experience in the full breadth of internal communication, coordinating tasks for HR, MarComm, and on the strategic topic of DE&IUpdating and maintaining our intranet, OurWorld.Creating and editing internal communication content.
  • Project Communication Support Supporting in the communication of strategic internal projects like innovation, digital transformation, etc... Learning how to guide change and ensuring stakeholders are informed and involved in the different projects

The preferred start date is September 1st, 2024 . The ideal candidate is available 4-5 days a week for 6 months . The location of the position is our European Headquarters in Oegstgeest. The internship can be done remotely for up to 2 days per week.

Qualifications

What kind of candidate are we looking for?

  • Someone currently following a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communication Science, Economics, Media and Culture, Marketing, Psychology, Corporate Communication, Social Media or any related studies in a Dutch university
  • Someone tech-savvy and with good knowledge in online tooling and editing programs. Previous experience in Marketing Communications or Internal Communications is a plus.
  • Someone hands-on, enthusiastic, and eager to learn more about enhancing internal communication by digital means
  • Someone proactive, resourceful and creative to think out of the box while working in a dynamic team and different departments (HR, Marketing Communications...)
  • Someone with good communication skills who is not afraid to build a network and to speak up when dealing with different stakeholders
  • A real team player who brings humor and enthusiasm to work!

  • 550 euros per month compensation on a full-time basis
