Job Summary
As a senior member of the Identity & Access Management (IAM) team, you will lead and support the delivery and management of the on-premise Secrets Management Service using HashiCorp Vault – Enterprise Edition. You will work on key tools, processes, and technologies critical to securing non-human identities and sensitive application data.
Key Responsibilities
- Support application teams with onboarding digital secrets by :
- Reviewing environments for appropriate authentication methods and secrets engines
- Assisting in compliance reporting and policy enforcement
- Managing the full lifecycle of secret onboarding
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to expand the service offering and drive adoption and automation
- Develop regular reports and accountability mechanisms for key metrics and agreed deliverables
- Work with vendor delivery teams to :
- Maintain detailed designs and gather prerequisites
- Deploy solutions in highly available, resilient, and secure configurations
- Ensure integration with the broader ecosystem (MS-AD, monitoring, backup, SIEM, etc.)
- Contribute to operational readiness and participate in an on-call rotation
- Design and deliver technical solutions based on specific customer business requirements
- Guide engineers in implementing policies and objectives set by senior management
- Translate high-level management policies into actionable engineering requirements
- Apply knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture within the IAM domain, particularly for non-human identities
Qualifications & Experience
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related fieldAt least 4 years of experience engineering and operating high-availability solutions across multiple data centersProven experience leading teams and effectively delegating tasksMinimum of 3 years’ experience as a Solution ArchitectTechnical Skills
Proficiency in Infrastructure and Configuration Management as Code (e.g., Terraform)Minimum 4 years of experience with DevOps tools (Jira, Git, Jenkins, etc.)Strong hands-on experience with HashiCorp Vault – Enterprise EditionProgramming and automation skills using PythonProficient in working with REST APIsScripting skills (e.g., Bash) for automating routine tasksExperience with SELinuxProficiency in Splunk, including query creation and monitoringSolid experience with RHEL 8 and RHEL 9 System AdministrationProfessional Competencies
