Join us as a Sales Engineer and help us do what we do best : propelling business forward. We are currently on the lookout for a Partner Account Manager to join our Benelux Sales team in Rotterdam . You will play a crucial role in managing and growing the Benelux OpenEdge partner business by working with a number of ISV partners. As a Partner Account Manager at Progress, you will work closely with our Application Partners, enabling them to be successful, their success is your success. In this role you will :
- Own and be accountable for ensuring partner and end user retention and growth within the assigned accounts.
- Ensure multiple connections are established per account from various departments and roles to enable deeper account penetration with Progress OpenEdge.
- Ensure Progress retains a healthy relationship with management-level executives among the assigned set of accounts.
- Maintain long-term relationships by understanding our partners and aligning our product's current & future value to our partners’ businesses while driving higher adoption of Progress technology and revenue growth.
- Focus effort in the identification and execution of revenue expansion opportunities within assigned accounts, by distinct upselling and cross-selling.
- Build pipeline, forecast, and commit to delivering the quarterly revenue target
- Meet scorecard metrics that are applicable for the role
- Maintain and update Salesforce.com to accurately track all customer data, business insights, and record of interactions
Your background :
Fluency in both Dutch and EnglishExperience in Software Sales and domain knowledge in the IT industry with track record in Partner experiencePassion about selling software productsKnow-how in solution selling, evaluates the client's customer needs and proposes potential solutionsKnowledge of sales process from initiation to closeAble to have impactful conversations with both technical and business audiencesExcellent verbal, telephone and written communication skillsAbility to effectively collaborate and work with internal teamsAble to work well under pressure, multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectivelyBuild and manage a pipeline, and commit to delivering the quarterly revenue targetA solid working knowledge of SalesForce.com / PC ToolsThe motivation to achieve sales targets / goals & who is comfortable with a quota-based variable compensationIf this sounds like you and fits your experience and career goals, we’d be happy to chat.
