DevOps Performance Tester

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Test Engineer to join our dynamic and fastpaced team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in performance testing within Agile and DevOps environments with proven expertise in tools such as JMeter Splunk and Dynatrace . This role is critical in ensuring the resilience reliability and scalability of our applications and systems.

Key Responsibilities

Performance Testing :

Design develop and execute performance and load tests using Apache JMeter to validate application scalability and responsiveness.

Agile Collaboration :

Work closely with crossfunctional Agile teams to embed performance testing throughout the software development lifecycle .

DevOps Integration :

Implement and maintain performance testing in CI / CD pipelines for seamless integration and continuous feedback.

Monitoring & Diagnostics :

Leverage Splunk and Dynatrace to monitor realtime system performance analyze logs and proactively identify bottlenecks or anomalies.

Resilience Engineering :

Develop and execute strategies to ensure system resilience incorporating chaos engineering and faulttolerant design approaches.

Issue Analysis :

Conduct indepth root cause analysis using Dynatrace collaborating with developers to resolve performance degradation issues.

Reporting & Documentation :

Create clear comprehensive test reports highlighting key metrics trends issues found and actionable recommendations.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

Handson expertise in Apache JMeter for designing and executing performance test scripts.

Experience using Splunk for monitoring and log analysis.

Proficiency in Dynatrace for application performance monitoring (APM) and troubleshooting.

Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum Kanban) and DevOps practices .

Experience with CI / CD tools like Jenkins GitLab CI or Azure DevOps.

Knowledge of resilience engineering and chaos testing concepts.

Familiarity with IBM MQ and its performance impact is a plus .

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.

ISTQB or performance testing certifications are advantageous.
