Sales Engineer

Do you want to contribute to the growth and further development of our successful organization?

Then we are looking for you!

As Sales Engineer at ANDRITZ GOUDA you draw up process technical designs for machines and complete process installations and translate this design into a commercial quotation.

Process technical

You assess the process technical feasibility and manufacturability of the (potential) order and you design process installations and process diagrams ((PFD and P&ID).
You also create and optimize calculation programs ( including pressure drop calculations, heat transfer calculations, mass and heat balances, etc.) and you assist and give advice during internal pilot tests or at customers on-site.
Actively participating in innovations of existing and new products and keeping abreast of (process) technical developments is also part of your work, as is the understanding the functionality of our other ANDRITZ machines and estimating the applicability for projects.

Commercial

As part of the Sales support team, you assist the Sales department with coordinating and answering all kinds of (process) questions from customers and prepare sales calculations and quotations.

You will also participate in (online) meetings with (inter)national customers to assist the Sales department with sales discussions, pilot tests and present process technical themes to (inter)national customers, colleagues and / or suppliers.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking an enthusiastic, result- driven Sales Engineer with a knack for problem-solving, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach.

You thrive in fast-paced environments, possess a helicopter view and are able to multitask.

Requirements

Five (5) years of experience as Sales or Process Engineer in an international, mechanical engineering driven business organization;

A degree in a relevant technical field, preferably in Process Engineering or Chemical Engineering, equipping the candidate with the technical expertise required for understanding and improving complex engineering processes;

Advanced knowledge of Sales processes and methods;

Experience in chemistry / food technology / environmental technology is a plus;

Knowledge of industrial instrumentation and control technology;

Experience in CRM platforms is a plus;

Fluent in Dutch and English (written and verbal);
