Your responsibilities
As a member of the Group Financial Control department within Group Finance, you will report to the Director of the Group Financial Control Team. You will help accelerate our sustainability reporting efforts and play a crucial role in implementing sustainability reporting regulations (CSRD and EU Taxonomy) within Vanderlande. Apart from external reporting, you will also be instrumental in our internal reporting on sustainability targets towards the Management Board. You will work together with the team and the project team focusing on our CSRD implementation.
As Group Sustainability Controller, you will :
- Execute sustainability control at group level and advise legal entities on local reporting requirements;
- Coordinate and prepare external reporting according to monthly timelines and ensure high-quality reporting;
- Develop ESG measurement and reporting policies;
- Address audit questions;
- Help translate the VI strategic Sustainability goals into a Finance strategy, roadmap, and targets;
- Explore and propose innovative, efficient, and cost-effective data solutions to meet sustainability information needs and drive sustainability performance;
- Support stakeholders by providing (un)solicited advice in the Sustainability Reporting domain;
- Become a subject matter expert in Sustainability Reporting and assist in the implementation of the CSRD;
- Assist in the development of an internal control framework covering sustainability;
- Initiate and participate in Sustainability programs with a continuous improvement mindset.

Bachelor's (HBO) or Master's degree in Finance or Sustainability; RA or RC is a plus;Experience with sustainability reporting regulation is a plus; interest in sustainability reporting is a must;Knowledge of reporting standards (e.g., CSRD, EU Taxonomy, IFRS);3-5 years of relevant reporting experience, preferably in an international corporate environment or audit firm;Excellent command of the English language (both verbal and written);Dutch or other languages would be advantageous;Analytic tool skills.What we offer :
