Lead Frontend Shopify Developer (m / f / div)

JOB PURPOSE

As a Lead Frontend Shopify Developer, you will work on the development and maintenance of a number of our Shopify and Shopify Plus e-commerce websites most of which are based on a headless approach. If you have built Shopify / Shopify Plus applications and have an understanding of how the overall architecture fits together with things like digital marketing tools, site management, etc. then this might be a good opportunity for you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build e-commerce sites in Shopify and Shopify Plus;
• Contribute to the development of open source software, HTML5 / CSS / JavaScript, and common web technologies integral to building seamless multi-channel experiences;
• Working on mobile, tablet and desktop solutions;
• Perform regular website testing to ensure functionality, including logging issues, detailing bugs, and making recommendations to PMs of any improvements that can be made;
• Manage daily website updates, edits, changes, or asset uploads within our content management system;
• Work with PMs to support new business sales and pitches;
• Knowledgeable in security / personal data protection principles and GPDR;
• Developing testing plans and troubleshooting issues related to eCommerce issues;
• Helping with website conversion and analytics;
• Monitoring and managing website uptime and performance;
• Designing and testing pages on different browsers / devices / clients;
• Implement advanced debugging techniques and usage of browser developer tools.
