Over de functie

The Global Risk & Insurance Specialist is a newly created role responsible for the global risk & insurance program in the broad sense and building a commercial network in the insurance sector to achieve a healthy and efficient global risk and insurance framework. Key tasks & responsibilities :

  • Coordinate insurance programs : Coverage extentPricing / negotiation / cost managementPolicy & underwritingMarket monitoring & testingCoverage structuringLoss ratio management and monitoring
  • Acquisitions DD : Coverage analysis & overlapPolicy transferIntegration and extensions
  • Contract review : Liability clause review & analysisInsurance coverage assessmentPolicy extensions special projects (e.g. Wlamart contracts)
  • Market & financial risk exposure assessment
  • Prevention : Property analysis fire & theftCoordination risk engineer recommendations : analysis, proposals & implementation
  • Reporting : Feedback & networking insurance risk engineers as free resourceGathering & prioritizing recommended actionsImprovements & attention points
  • Claims handling : Procedures harmonizationLoss ratio managementClaims coordination broker / insurerNegotiations on coverage / pay-out
  • Compliance : Managing policy terms & covenantsReporting risks & financialsInsurance certificates.

Maak het verschil

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, business economics, law or management
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar function (corporate, broker, insurance)
  • Experience in an international business environment
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • You are hands-on, flexible, proactive and precise
  • Fluent in English
