Description
Principal Accountabilities
Coordinate the deployment of all category strategies in accordance with the approved plan in conjunction with the Strategic Sourcing Category Lead and internal stakeholders.
- Communicate both verbally and in writing with vendors, internal stakeholders and business leaders.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers to meet company sourcing strategies / needs (category, program, volume, and timing), in line with Arrow's strategy, by performing initial Vendor assessments (risk, maturity, capability and capacity).
- Obtain information from suppliers concerning product and / or service specifications, price, delivery dates, etc.
- Drive vendor onboarding activities including training and assistance in the utilization / management of the source-to-pay (S2P) platform.
- Track and manage vendor compliance with policies and contractual requirements.
Job Complexity
Experience / Education
Typically requires a 2 year degree and 2–4 years of experience or High school graduate with equivalent related experience. May require specific certifications.
