Job Description
For our Nootdorp office we are currently seeking a UX Designer to join our Geo-data Digitalisation product family, building desktop and web solutions for Fugro's global Geo-data digitalisation workflow interfaces across Marine and Land applications.
Fugro's vision is to contribute to a safe and liveable world. We use planes, trains, cars, boats, submarines, and robots to map and model the environment and its infrastructure so that structures can be reliably built, run and maintained. Fugro is committed to building a sustainable future, and we have strong growth for our services supporting renewable industries.
At the heart of our business is the complex flow of Geo-data as it transitions from vehicle sensors through remote operation centers, data processing and modelling, and into the hands of our customers. In addition, large-scale infrastructure projects (e.g. constructing offshore windfarms farms) involve numerous vessels and survey types and challenge our ability to manage and integrate data efficiently.
You create value by reducing these complexities through solid UX design. The ability to move faster, more effectively, and more accurately affects our bottom line and, more importantly, the carbon footprints of our and our clients’ businesses.

You collaborate developers to integrate front-end code with back-end system,
You conduct usability tests, collecting and analysing user feedback.
You contribute and help grow our centralised design system and style guide;
You partner closely with product managers and engineers to better understand opportunities and gaps within our workflow products.
Your track record
You have 7+ years in UX design, with experience in both graphic and interaction design;
You have experience working on web applications as well as desktop;
You have Experience using Figma, Sketch or Adobe XD, and Adobe CS;
You have the ability to help refine and deliver storytelling around user needs;
