The Role
- Establish relationships with external entities to aid in the success of our Brand and Content enforcement services
- Lead on strategic collaboration initiatives to reduce Intellectual Property infringements on platforms
- Drive and implement frameworks and workflows derived from collaboration and partnership with organizations.
Responsibilities and Duties
Build, maintain and leverage external relationships with social media platforms, online marketplaces, law enforcement, Industry bodies, ISPs, registries, registrars, and other intermediariesAnalyze, identify and monitor industry trends and policies to assist in defining Corsearch’s strategic enforcement activitiesReport to the Director of Global Relations, with weekly updates and figures, identify potential issues and provide recommendationsLead on escalations from internal stakeholdersPresenting and preparing internal documentation derived from key metrics to aid activities undertaken by stakeholdersBe the subject matter expert on brand and content protection enforcement matters relating to specific platforms or intermediariesPrepare documentation for official submissions to governments and trade acts;Represent Corsearch in external and internal eventsEssential
Brand or Content Protection experienceLaw (LLB), Information Technology, International Relations or equivalent Bachelor’s degreeExcellent English language skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing to a range of audiences and stakeholders both internal and external; additional language skills is a plusDemonstrated ability to work across a matrix organisationDemonstrated delivery of performance management and personnel developmentProven delivery of business outcomes and targets on time and against quality standards, with a focus on continuous improvementKnowledge of internet technologies and networkStrong capabilities in MS Power Point, Word & ExcelProven ability to demonstrate objectivity, sound reasoning, and delivery of solutionsAbility to conduct research online across a wide range of subjectsAbility to deliver reports and presentations to a high standardHighly self-motivated with the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities for both yourself and the teamCollaborative approach and willingness to compromise to find solutions;A results oriented individual who thrives working in a fast paced environment and maintains a calm approach and sound judgement when operating under pressureHas the ability to be agile in improving frameworks and processes as technology evolvesPreferred
