MCA Engineering Netherlands is an ambitious and fast-growing high-tech engineering and consulting organization. Originally French, but now operating in Europe, the secondment of engineers and IT specialists focuses on the design and implementation of innovative systems for large-scale industrial projects. The NL office is located in Eindhoven, but the ambition is to open multiple locations in the Netherlands. The company is characterized by a 'can-do' mentality, in which responsibilities lie low in the organization and 'accountability for results' is a natural consequence. At the same time, the focus is on making each other successful and supporting each other, where necessary.

Context

As a Software & Quality Engineer, you will work closely with other competencies to develop, test and deliver software for the research setups. You will also work closely with teams to develop and formalize testing and SW integration / delivery capabilities as part-time SQA.

Responsibilities :

  • Work closely with the functional engineer and the software architect to translate functional requirements to software requirements.
  • Develop, test and deliver software according to requirements.
  • Give transparency on quality and timing of deliverables.
  • Connect to other SQAs in the organization to expand and formalize testing capability.
  • Be responsible for software integration and delivery for system function.

Requirements :

  • Computer Science or equivalent : Master's with 3+ or Bachelor's with 6+ years of experience.
  • Strong quality mindset with experience in SQA or similar SW integration / test-delivery role.
  • Proactive problem solving with strong communication skills.
  • Proven skills in C# and familiar with Git and CI / CD tools.
  • Able to write simple, maintainable, readable code.
  • Experience with scrum / agile / SAFe is a plus.
