Wat ga je doen

As Diagnostic Calibration Engineer, you’ll design diagnostic calibration strategies, ensuring OBD compliance during production and development. Effective communication and adherence to defined standards are key aspects of this position. As a vigilant process guardian, you’ll monitor the development and validation of the OBD system, following process guidelines. Your role extends to developing tools for process control and optimization. Additionally, you’ll translate OBD regulations to ensure our engine development aligns with compliance standards and our product specification book.

Jouw werkzaamheden

Developing calibrations for diagnosing both existing and newly-introduced Combustion Engine and Aftertreatment components.
Creating strategies for diagnostic calibration to uphold OBD compliance for engine programs during both production and development phases.
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure awareness, introduction, and adherence to defined standards.
Monitoring and ensuring adherence to process guidelines during the development and validation of the OBD system.
Crafting tools for the control, maintenance, and optimization of processes and documentation.
Adapting OBD regulations into engine development to ensure compliance with both OBD regulations and product specification guidelines.

Wat heb jij in huis?

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, with a keen interest in Automotive or Vehicle Engineering.

Mandatory knowledge of internal combustion engines, with a preference for Diesel engines.

Basic understanding of OBD regulation and OBD systems.

Quick adaptability to complex and abstract issues.

Enthusiastic about tackling complex systems and finding solutions for technical challenges.

Proactive attitude with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and organizations.

Knowledge and experience with MS-Office and Matlab.

Strong English skills required, with a willingness to learn Dutch.
