Demurrage Analyst

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role you will be responsible for handling all incoming and outgoing demurrage claims for all barges handled within the VARO group

In your day to day work you will process demurrage claims with your extensive knowledge of demurrage regulations and use this knowledge in the negotiations with barge owners and counterparts.

You will be involved in our strategic decisions about sourcing, blending and provide the input on your part of expertize

Collaboration is key to get the best results over the whole supply chain, so you will work together with colleagues from other departments in the Netherlands, Germany or Switzerland to get things done and achieve the best chain result.

Also you have your part in optimizing processes & guidelines within the Supply Chain

YOUR PROFILE

In order to fulfill the content of the job the ideal candidate has :

MBO plus several years of working experience in Supply Chain

Experience with claim handling in a similar environment;

Knowledge of or affinity with barges is a benefit

Excellent English and Dutch language skills
