About the role :
As a Product Manager at Dealroom, you will play a key role in driving the success of our product by managing the day-to-day execution of the roadmap for our SaaS application and API. You will be responsible for writing user stories, managing the backlog, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful features.
Working with engineering, design, and other stakeholders, you’ll ensure that each product release aligns with user needs and business goals. From testing new features to coordinating sprints, you’ll be hands-on in ensuring we’re building the right solutions, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

As a Product Manager, you will :
- Own and manage the product backlog : Define, prioritize, and maintain issues for the SaaS application and API (Frontend and Backend).
- Collaborate with stakeholders : Work closely with clients, development teams, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure features align with business and client goals.
- Lead sprint planning and backlog refinement : Facilitate sprint planning sessions, document key takeaways, and groom the backlog to ensure clear priorities and deliverables.
- Write user stories and acceptance criteria : Translate high-level requirements into detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria to guide development efforts.
- Drive product execution : Coordinate with design, frontend, and backend teams to deliver features on time, resolving roadblocks as they arise.
- Conduct feature testing and review : Ensure delivered features meet quality standards and specifications, providing approval for each release.
- Stay informed on industry trends : Leverage insights to identify opportunities for innovation and keep the platform competitive.
Profile we’re looking for :
2+ years of experience as a Product Manager in a tech-driven environment; experience in B2B SaaS is preferredProven experience in managing product backlogs, writing user stories and collaborating with cross-functional teams (especially frontend and backend development teams)Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, to effectively manage development sprints. Familiarity with product management and development toolsExperience in testing and validating features to ensure they meet business and user needs.Strong knowledge of venture capital, startups, or tech ecosystemsExcellent written and verbal communication to document requirements and provide clear feedback.Living in the Netherlands, as we expect you at least 2 days in our Amsterdam officeWhat we bring to the Deal
