Offering a great flight booking experience is one of the key priorities of Booking.com. We aim to make it easier for everyone to find and book the right flight, with the ambition to create a convenient, intuitive and ultimately more traveler-friendly way to experience air travel.

The Flights Product Marketing team is responsible for finding opportunities to enhance our product experience, bringing new flights features to market and devising strategies to attract new customers. The team's main objective is to help grow the business through increased traffic, conversion rate, engagement and revenue.

In your day-to-day work you will directly partner with a wide range of collaborators - from marketing to product teams, data, research, UX & legal professionals to create attractive customer journeys that make a positive impact on the business.

You’ll report to the Senior Product Marketing Manager in Flights, who will support you in your growth and development. You will also have the opportunity to engage with the wider Product Marketing community for support and resources.

The ideal candidate has an excellent eye for detail, pragmatic approach and strong ownership. While you will have a supporting team around you, it's important that you can work independently to find opportunities, are comfortable to engage a wide group of partners to drive execution and feel excited to make decisions based on data and experimentation.

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties :

  • Collaborate with our in-house marketing teams and other central teams to increase awareness and drive high quality traffic to our flights offering.
  • Identify & assess opportunities to increase the performance of existing marketing channels using data and research
  • Create end-to-end, go-to-market strategies for the flights product
  • Provide domain knowledge to the marketing and other central teams
  • Work directly with the internal communications team to educate and advise our colleagues about key landmarks of the flights product
  • Proactively influence your collaborators using data, analytical thinking and structured presentation skills
  • Define the positioning of the flights product to key customer segments
  • Validate value propositions with target audiences
  • Inform and help shape the roadmap and prioritization for both the Flights team and the marketing teams

Role Qualifications and Requirements :

  • Demonstrated ability in a strategic marketing role
  • Experience working with a range of different (performance) marketing channels
  • Proven track record in taking end-to-end responsibility of scaling products
  • Ability to manage projects across multiple departments and customers
  • Strong prioritization and multitasking skills
  • Ability to analyze marketing performance data and draw conclusions (no coding is required)
  • Strong interpersonal skills (verbal & written communication)
  • Curious, solution focused and a committed approach to work
  • Proactive, flexible and capable of working independently as well as working in a team
  • Strategic problem solver, able to balance long-term vision with short- and medium-term goals
  • Preferably have experience working with central marketing teams or agencies
  • Bonus if you have experience in the travel, tech, e-commerce or the aviation industry
