About the Role :

We are looking for a Process Development Engineer who wants to use their Mechanical Engineering expertise to model, design, test, and implement innovative healthcare products and manufacturing systems within the Machining, Measuring & Materials department. You will work in an environment with diverse customers and projects, where system thinking and a proactive attitude are essential for success. Your focus will be on creating detailed (new) product and process designs that are suitable for scale-up and volume production. You will use your broad knowledge to communicate and collaborate effectively with colleagues in other disciplines, such as dynamics, thermodynamics, electronics, and software.

Your Responsibilities :

Converting product and system concepts into effective and efficient mechanical solutions.
Working closely with the lead Process Engineer and / or the Project Manager.
Maintaining an effective network with customers and suppliers.
Creating necessary technical documentation.

Your Profile :

An MSc degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering .

Strong conceptual and analytical skills .

Intrinsic motivation to deeply explore combining mechanics with system engineering and other mechatronic disciplines such as fine mechanics, dynamics & control, thermal behavior / control, materials behavior, and metrology (positioning and measurement).

Proficient in Python programming .

Proficient in 3D CAD.

Proficient in MS Office tools.

Basic knowledge of design controls and risk management standards .

Basic understanding of designfor quality aspects , critical quality testing , and regulatory requirements.
