Key Responsibilities :
Assist the Project Manager in overseeing and managing on-site personnel.Lead by example by setting, monitoring, and enforcing high standards for safety and quality of work.Take on a leadership role on-site, overseeing daily tasks while adhering to and implementing the site safety plan and regulations.Ensure all employees are appropriately trained and equipped to perform their duties safely and to a professional standard.Plan and manage labour resources effectively to maximise efficiency, anticipate labour and material requirements, and monitor subcontractor working hours.Supervise subcontractor activities, ensuring progress aligns with project schedules.Maintain regular communication with subcontractors, addressing performance concerns and fostering strong working relationships.Oversee the performance of supervisory staff and other team members, reporting and resolving any incidents as necessary.Verify that materials meet project specifications before they are installed on-site.Implement the project quality plan, ensuring all snag lists are completed promptly.Participate in the project handover process and assist in resolving outstanding project items in collaboration with the Project Manager.Ensure tasks are completed according to the project scope, obtaining approvals for any additional work or scope changes from the Project Manager.Qualification :
Qualified in a mechanical discipline through either a trade or a degree.A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a construction management role within the mechanical contracting sector, with a strong track record of delivering successful projects.Previous experience working on data centre construction projects.In-depth understanding of the mechanical design and construction process.J-18808-Ljbffr
