Global Data Manager
You will be the Global Data Manager in our Asset Solutions team. As part of DLL's Asset Solutions area, you can have a real impact on DLL equipment and maximizing its use. Within DLL, Asset Solutions is responsible for systems and data that optimize the value and lifecycle of the assets DLL finances for the benefit of its customers, vendor partners, and society. As the Global Data Manager, you will be responsible for the development and enhancement of our asset data discipline. You will lead a team of data experts, driving the refinement and execution of our global data strategy, from governance and organization to IT delivery (Product ownership). Your role will be crucial in synchronizing local and global efforts to develop a comprehensive data landscape and reporting system, specific to equipment of DLL and including the setup of a new telematics landscape.
For this asset data environment, you will be the product owner and the linking pin between the business stakeholder (report owners), the delivery teams and other data management teams in DLL. Within the Asset Solutions team, several products will depend on your team's direction for asset data, its data model and how it should be embedded successfully in our 5 lines of business and 5 regions.
Central data management and governance is taking shape within DLL; however, for data specific to our equipment (Assets), more work needs to be done. Your team will be maturing the organization and governance, further developing the reporting and analytics environment of assets and starting a new telematics data initiative. You are taking our stakeholders and our landscape to new heights of asset data quality.
Your responsibilities :
- Agile DevOps : Represent the customer, own the team backlog, define User Stories and (re)prioritize the Features based on value and time to streamline the execution of priorities, while maintaining conceptual and technical integrity of the features or components of the system for the team.
- Team Leadership : Enable, coach, and direct your team including reporting analysts, data analysts, and contractors to deliver data innovation and service execution excellence.
- Asset Data Custodian : Responsible for delivery of data strategy and procedure, including critical data elements, definitions and the holistic Data model while enabling execution in all Asset Solutions, specific to Equipment (Assets) data.
- Asset Data Landscape : Deliver on Data landscape, enabling reporting and data delivery as well as data consumption and processing of internal and external Equipment data, such as telematics.
- Business / Client Interaction : Align with the regional transformation and global data management teams, to define strategy and translate it into service roadmaps to be implemented by your team. Ensure that business stakeholder satisfaction is achieved and sustained.
Day to day :
Act as the linking pin between business stakeholders at all DLL locations and global teams in Data and Asset Management and IT.Lead workshops with key users, stakeholders, and team members to gather business requirements.Express product requirements as User Stories and prioritize the product backlog to maximize customer outcomes.Create an empowering and energizing environment for team members, focusing on accountability, adaptability, and collaboration.Communicate the asset data strategy and implementation roadmap to the organization to drive expansion and rollout.Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for asset data processes and systems.Monitor and analyze data trends to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of asset data solutions.Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the progress of asset data initiatives.Ensure compliance with data governance policies and industry regulation.All members enjoy :

Master's degree in Business Intelligence, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.Minimum of 7 years of experience in a comparable global role.Extensive experience working in a network organization.Proven track record in applying and leading initiatives based on various frameworks, including Agile methodologies.Team leadership experience managing experts is preferred but not a must.Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).Proficiency in data management software (e.g., SQL, Python).Strong understanding of data governance and compliance.You are able to work in Eindhoven (head office) at least once a week. It is not a must that you live in The Netherlands; we are also open for candidates from Belgium and Germany (Düsseldorf area).You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.Good to know :
