Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited to the Following :
- Product Leadership : Provide the technical vision for medical device product development. Lead the technical processes and ensure effective execution by the engineering team.
- Project Management : Collaborate with the project lead to balance quality, time, and budget in creating valuable ventures, products, and services; Plan and oversee project timelines, ensuring alignment with goals and deliverables.
- Technical Execution : Guide the development of technical solutions and ensure compliance with relevant standards and quality requirements; Conduct risk management activities and ensure smooth technical reviews and approvals.
- Facilities & Support : Maintain and manage facilities required for product development; Provide technical support as needed to ensure project success.
- Mentorship : Mentor and support junior engineers as required to foster a collaborative and high-performing team.
- Prospecting & Proposals : Engage in prospecting activities and contribute to proposal development for potential new projects.
Job Requirements :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechatronics, mechanical (design) engineering, biomechanical engineering, or a related field.Over 5 years of experience as a lead engineer or project leader in medical device development and R&D product development.Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks and / or Creo / Pro-e.Familiarity with quality standards, including ISO9001, ISO13485, and GMP.Strong alignment with values such as curiosity, empathy, courage, and authenticity.Preferred Attributes and Benefits :
