Lead Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities :

Lead electrical design and integration for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Balance of Plant (BoP), ensuring seamless coordination of components.

Provide technical leadership and oversee design compliance with standards and safety regulations.

Supervise electrical activities such as load flow studies, protection schemes, and grid interconnections.

Optimize BESS designs for efficiency, output, and lifecycle cost.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (civil, mechanical, software) to ensure project success.

Manage suppliers and contractors to meet project specifications.

Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring projects stay on time and within budget.

Ensure compliance with local and international regulations and prepare necessary documentation.

Promote innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications :

• 5+ years of experience in BESS, wind, or PV industries.
• Bachelor's / Master's in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics .
• Extensive experience in large-scale energy storage projects .
• Knowledge of Dutch / German network codes is a plus.
• Strong leadership , communication , and project management skills .
• Proficient in Microsoft Office ; knowledge of PSS / E , PSCAD , ETAP , AutoCAD , and Tableau is a plus.
