We are currently looking for an experienced Technical Specification Engineer for woodwork, accommodation, and technical spaces in the shipbuilding industry.

Functie

As the future Technical Specification Engineer in the organization, you will apply your expertise in order to transform design concepts into precise technical specifications and maintain compliance with high-quality standards for special shipbuilding projects.

Specific duties in this role include :

Developing functional technical specifications for suppliers and subcontractors that align with customer and design requirements.
Creating detailed technical specifications for joinery works while maintaining industry standards and regulations.
Staying in close collaboration with procurement and supply chain departments to select suitable materials and suppliers.
Providing technical support and guidance to the production team.
Updating and keeping accurate documentation of woodwork specifications, changes, and project progress.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or Civil Architecture, coupled with experience as a Technical Specification Engineer in the maritime industry.

Solid understanding of processes and knowledge of joinery materials and techniques.

Expertise in using CAD software for technical drawings and specifications.

Proficiency in English, both written and verbal; German is considered a plus.
