Are you a strategic, commercially minded leader with a passion for driving market expansion? An ambitious UK consumer brand is expanding into the Benelux region — and are looking for a dynamic Head of Growth to lead the charge- initially within these 2 regions but potentially across Europe.
About the Opportunity :
The brand is a fast-scaling UK-based D2C and retail business disrupting the premium pet food space. With manufacturing based in the UK and a loyal, fast-growing customer base, they're now poised to bring their success to new European markets — starting with the Netherlands and Belgium.
This is not your typical growth role. It’s a high-impact, entrepreneurial position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, digitally-led environment. You’ll be a one-person powerhouse on the ground, working in tandem with an experienced UK team and local marketing and 3PL partners (who are already set up in South Holland).
Your Mission :
You'll lead end-to-end go-to-market execution across Benelux, supported by UK-based tech, creative, and operations teams — with full ownership of local P&L and strategic direction.
Key focus areas include :
- Growth Leadership : Own acquisition, retention, and revenue targets across D2C and retail.
- Retail Expansion : Nurture existing partner conversations in the region and spearhead retail rollout by month 6 (supported by the co-founders and CEO who will also be opening up retail partnership conversations)
- Ecommerce & Performance Marketing : Manage agencies in NL and BE; scale PPC and digital campaigns from £10–20k / month to £50k+.
- Localization & Customer Experience : Ensure content, communications, and payment experiences resonate locally
- Operational Oversight : Collaborate with the 3PL in South Holland and local suppliers for smooth fulfilment and logistics.
About You :
Proven experience in launching and scaling D2C or consumer brands in new markets (ideally FMCG or retail)Hands-on commercial leader with a deep understanding of marketing, ecommerce, and customer lifecycle growth.Fluent in Dutch and English (French is a plus)Located in, or willing to relocate to, the NetherlandsEntrepreneurial spirit with the grit to work autonomously, but the collaboration skills to partner across UK teams and agencies.Comfortable with a “startup within a scaleup” pace — you’ll be setting the bar.First 12–18 Months : Key Milestones :
Month 1–3 : Finalize localized proposition, establish paid marketing activity, begin building brand awareness.Month 4–6 : Hit first customer acquisition goals and launch into retail with select partners.Month 6–12 : Scale paid media to £50k / month+ with positive ROI; explore expansion opportunities in Germany and Poland.Month 12–18 : Act as European lead with potential to build a small team as the region grows.Why Join?
