Job Summary :

Supermicro is looking for a Production Test Technician to perform testing of defective products, identify needed repairs, and ensures quality control for commercial standards and customer needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned) :

Inspect, test, and troubleshoot all products from our assembly line and RMA

PCBA (BP, MB and Server related boards) Incoming Quality Control

Assist test engineer / supervisor to diagnose and identify root causes for failed boards

Test and identify defective area(s) and enter information into RMA Repair database

Execute ECO, BIOS, and FW upgrades

Adhere to standard testing procedures and schedule to meet daily demand and quality requirements

Work efficiently in a fast paced production environment

Adhere to company and Production departments policies and procedures

Perform other duties, as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications :

Minimum AA in Engineering, BA preferred

Minimum 3 years experience in systems troubleshooting preferred

Basic knowledge of PC, System and Server operation

Familiarity with Window or DOS

Strong attention to detail, including accuracy and thoroughness

Solid communications skills both verbal and written
