As a Technical Buyer , you’ll play a central role throughout the entire procurement cycle – from initial specification all the way through to post-purchase evaluation. Within our team, each Buyer takes ownership of specific product categories.

What You’ll Be Doing :

Investigating and analyzing assigned product segments to inform procurement decisions.
Creating and refining strategic approaches to purchasing.
Participating in the selection, evaluation, and development of suppliers to ensure high performance.
Maintaining ongoing, effective communication and relationships with vendors.
Sharing insights and developments from the supplier market with internal stakeholders.
Assisting in improving the overall supply chain performance.
Driving continuous improvement efforts internally and externally concerning supplier cooperation.
Overseeing delivery schedules and playing a key role in vendor performance management.
Managing associated administrative processes related to procurement activities.
Requesting, reviewing, and comparing supplier proposals.
Coordinating the timely and consistent sourcing and ordering of materials and services for projects – ensuring alignment with quality and specification standards.
Collaborating with the strategic procurement lead to develop plans for your assigned categories, including drafting and managing framework agreements that align with those plans.

What We’re Looking For :

You bring a BSc or MSc background (or equivalent working level), ideally with a technical focus.

You’ve gained procurement experience in a technical or industrial setting.

You’re comfortable using Microsoft Office and ERP platforms.

You communicate effectively in both Dutch and English, written and spoken.

You have a track record in initiating and executing process improvements.

You have a natural curiosity or interest in technology.

Your communication style is clear, collaborative, and professional.

You possess strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Your approach is customer-focused – both within the company and with external partners.

You’re a proactive team contributor with a strong sense of organizational awareness.
