I am hiring for Dutch Speaking Tech Lead Data & Analytics for my banking client in Utrecht, Netherlands. This is initially 12 months contract with possible extension.

I am looking for a Tech Lead with proven experience in leading teams in complex environments. This role is primarily responsible for leading several teams working on our Enterprise D&A Products.

As a Tech Lead, you are primarily managerial and integrally responsible for IT Delivery. This includes setting up and maintaining high-performing teams, ensuring secure and compliant delivery processes, and identifying new innovations to ensure future-proof data & analytics product development. Performance and compliance in the context of standards, information security, and risk are crucial aspects.

As a Product principles. We focus on setting standards for Data Engineering for structured and unstructured data, developing frameworks and solutions to accelerate and automate processes, and actively collaborating enterprise-wide where our engineers have coaching / advisory roles. We closely collaborate with our platforms and are partners in defining end-to-end improvements or innovations.

Together with your team, you ensure value delivery, build partnerships enterprise-wide, and create a safe working environment. In our dynamic working environment, you will be expected to identify, initiate, and implement process improvements to ensure good collaboration and create structure, peace, and clarity in a fast and continuously changing environment.

Increasing the maturity level of the product teams and the way they ensure value creation within bank;
Stimulating a real 'engineering culture';
Further implementation of agile working;
Expansion and optimization of offshoring;
Improving collaboration with the Global Data Platform to ensure a good user journey.

Your profile :

Academic working and thinking level;

At least 5 years of experience in similar roles within complex D&A / IT environments;

Comfortable with a "span of control" of approximately 30-40 employees;

Experience working with offshore teams and understanding vendor management processes;

Knowledge of and experience with DevOps teams and scaled Agile (SAFe);

Relevant experience with issues in complex Data & Analytics environments;

Extensive experience in software development and Data Engineering;

Experience in guiding DevOps teams in transition;

Proven project / program management experience within IT environments, preferably within Financial Services;

Demonstrable results in guiding teams towards autonomy and high performance;

Demonstrable affinity and passion for digitization and Cloud technology;

Mastery of the English language (business level, writing and speaking);

Ability to weigh interests and risks together with the business and maintain a firm stance in difficult discussions;
