The Role :

The Business Development Manager (People Manager) must achieve and exceed sales targets through effective coaching of Sales Specialists, promoting satisfactory service standards for existing customers, and increasing the customer base and sales volume for the channel. Additionally, they must ensure that SF Express services are sold to meet and exceed sales targets with profitability for the company, leading the team to successfully offer services that generate value to their processes and maximize business opportunities in the short and long term.

Main Responsibilities :

Sales Activities :

  • Manage the operations of the sales department, lead the sales team to achieve sales target.
  • Design sales plans and strategies for new products and upsell.
  • Develop new and innovative strategies for customer acquisition and retain.
  • Research and identify sales opportunities, generating leads, and detecting potential customers.
  • Meet with key customers and seek out potential prospects.

People Management :

  • Lead and manage a Sales Specialists team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the sales team, ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) are met and exceeded.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and collaboration among team members.
  • Provide regular performance feedback, conduct performance reviews, and create development plans to enhance the team's skills and capabilities.
  • Basic Requirements :

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in people management, with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
  • More than 8 years of experience in the air freight, freight forwarding or logistic industry.
  • Fluent in English (must); proficiency in Chinese, French or Dutch is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
