The Role

As project manager, you are responsible for the successful realization of new product development projects, from concept to mass production. You manage these technological challenging projects with multidisciplinary teams of engineers and external partners. You are focused on successful delivery to our customers, considering the interests of internal and external stakeholders.

Who we are looking for

An experienced project manager who loves to work on technological challenging product development projects in a complex multidisciplinary environment. You understand the complexities of multidisciplinary product development. You have experience with embedded systems development (hardware and software) and successfully transferring these products to production. Your communication skills are recognized as exemplary by internal and external stakeholders. You have an intrinsic drive to deliver and ensure quality and take pride in delivering a great product. You realize this through cooperation. Therefore, you are a motivator and inspirator for the teams you manage. You are driving the project and manage scope, budget and time. The commercial success of our company is a natural focus in your work. Finally, you dare to take responsibility, to listen and to give feedback.

To summarize our search :

• 5+ years experience in project management, running large scale projects with budgets over 1 mln
• Experience with embedded systems development processes
• Experience with agile software development methodologies (scrum)
• Experience with multidisciplinary new product development
• Experience with managing mechanical engineering and manufacturing is an advantage
• Experience with medical device development is an advantage
• Experience with quality management systems is an advantage
• Formal project management certification is a pre
• Excellent Dutch and English language skills
• Stakeholder management; ability to act as a professional counterpart for clients and partners
