Job Overview
The Engagement Manager at TEKsystems Global Services (TGS) is responsible for overseeing multiple projects, ensuring successful delivery, customer satisfaction, and effective financial management. This role involves managing teams, handling client interactions, and ensuring that all project deliverables are met according to the agreed terms and conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery :
- Engagement Management : Oversee the delivery of engagements as per the Statement of Work (SoW), ensuring all deliverables are met.
- Risk and Scope Management : Identify and manage risks, control the scope of the project, and ensure compliance with contract terms.
- Reporting : Provide regular updates on engagement delivery through Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews (MBR / QBR).
Customer Management :
Health Checks : Conduct periodic health checks to ensure projects are on track and meeting customer expectations.Strategy Participation : Engage in account strategy discussions with internal stakeholders to address engagement status, opportunities, and risks.Collaboration : Facilitate collaboration between customers, consultants, and TGS practice groups to ensure seamless project execution.Team Management :
Onboarding / Offboarding : Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes for team members, ensuring smooth transitions.Performance Tracking : Monitor and report on team performance, providing support and guidance as needed.Support Activities : Assist team members with their activities and resolve any issues that arise.Financial Management :
Revenue and Cost Management : Oversee the financial aspects of engagements, including managing revenue, controlling costs, and ensuring profitability.Budget Reporting : Consolidate and report on budget information across the portfolio of engagements.Required Skills and Abilities
Communication : Excellent oral and written communication skills in Dutch and English ; proficiency in additional languages such as Spanish, German, or French is a plus.Analytical Skills : Strong analysis and problem-solving abilities to address complex project challenges.Organizational Skills : Effective time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Team Management : Proven experience in managing and leading teams, with a focus on performance tracking and issue resolution.Customer Service : Exceptional customer service and stakeholder management skills to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.Preferred Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s degree required; a Master’s degree is preferable.Experience : 6 to 10 years of IT experience, with exposure to customer project / engagement delivery and agile methodologies.Project Management : Experience in managing large-scale enterprise integration projects and cloud-based development projects.Certifications : Relevant certifications in Agile, PMI, SAFe, PRINCE2, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) are advantageous.Stakeholder Management : Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders, lead teams, and coach team members.IT Knowledge : Understanding of IT environments and the ability to drive continual improvement in project delivery.Collaboration and Communication
Internal Partnerships : Work closely with internal stakeholders to discuss engagement strategies, manage risks, and ensure contract compliance.Customer Relations : Maintain positive relationships with consultants and customers by following through on commitments and addressing concerns promptly.Proactive Issue Resolution : Identify and resolve issues quickly, advocating for TGS to support growth opportunities with customers.Job Title : Delivery Engagement Manager
