JOB SUMMARY

We're looking for a thoughtful Sr. Engineer with an eye and passion for quality to join our Architecture team and build globally scalable solutions. As a Sr. Engineer on the Architecture team, you'll build prototypes, full-fledged features, and establish engineering standards across all teams. You'll work closely with other Engineers and Product Managers to understand their needs. You should have experience in building distributed applications in Cloud Environment at scale. Ideally, you're passionate about writing clean, modular code, evangelizing architectural best practices across the organization. While you prefer building backend services, you have thorough understanding of how they interact with frontend, and you could fully support your frontend colleagues' point of view. A sense of humor is a plus.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The typical day is... atypical.

Work in the Architecture team to build technical designs and evolve the architecture to accommodate and scale for the next generation. Work with multiple groups horizontally across the Organization , helping them streamline the ownership of the ir applications and their CI / CD pipelines. Rotation opportunities with different teams to tackle a specific technological problem. Engineer, design, and estimat e solutions for new feature requests partnering with the product management team. Review pull requests to ensure high-quality and maintainable code bases and solutions. Mentor Engineers across the teams and help elevate their technical skills. I ntegrate third-party APIs and SDK s . Work with SaaS Providers. Wri te unit and integration tests and ensure standards are applied across the teams. Diagnose / fix bugs and identify / fix performance bottlenecks in existing services / systems. Keep yourself up to date with technological evolutions and ensure we adopt them as appropriate . Work with teams distributed across the globe.

Additional responsibilities include :

• Develop and Support Application Infrastructure in GCP, In Memory Data b ases and Servers.
• Write clean , tested code and enforce standards across the organization.
• Participate in Regular Code Review and PR process and ensure that code delivered is of High Quality.
• Participate, Lead / Champion / Evangelize Architecture and best practices across teams.
• End to End Solution Ownership.
• Drive Change across teams.
• Participate in Rotational On-call.
