About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on Finance Operations Specialist to join our rapidly growing and dynamic company. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in expanding our finance organization and supporting the continued growth of the nLighten Group. This position offers broad exposure across the nLighten Group and active involvement in multiple European market.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations

  • Ensure up-to-date accounting for nLighten entities under your remit, manage month-end reporting processes, and align with group accounting policies.
  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes to support cash flow efficiency.
  • Support group cash flow management, including forecasting, timely funding, and intercompany reconciliation.
  • Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies as well as local GAAP and / or IFRS.
  • Assist with tax reporting and filing obligations across the group, ensuring timely compliance and proactively addressing queries or audits.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Deliver timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports, enabling data-driven decision-making.
  • Engage in discussions with auditors and streamline both internal and external audit processes.
  • Ensure adherence to local financial regulations, tax requirements, and statutory reporting obligations across all European markets.
  • Proactively monitor and implement changes required by evolving financial regulations in Europe.

    • System & Process Improvement

  • Drive process improvements in accounting and reporting, focusing on automation and scalability to enhance accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial workflows and leverage automation tools.

    • What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA) is advantageous.
  • 2-4 years of experience in accounting and financial operations, ideally within multi-entity or pan-European operations.
  • Foundational understanding of accounting principles, processes, and business operations.
  • Experience working with finance ERP systems; familiarity with Dynamics Finance & Operations is a plus.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and / or local European GAAP standards.
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams and cultures.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in an additional European language is a plus.
