Role Overview As a Process Safety Consultant, you will lead and support technical assignments, with a focus on HAZOPs and other process safety techniques. You will work closely with clients to provide customized engineering solutions, ensuring compliance with industry regulations while maintaining the highest safety standards. You will also contribute to the development and growth of our Process Safety services in existing and emerging markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, delivering tailored safety solutions to meet their needs.
  • Lead HAZOP studies and other process safety activities, ensuring accurate and efficient outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and secure repeat or new business.
  • Support financial performance by delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Collaborate with senior team members and seek feedback to continuously improve performance.
  • Adapt to changing project requirements and market trends with a proactive mindset.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company standards, and client requirements.
  • Communicate transparently with clients, team members, and management throughout project lifecycles.

Required Skills and Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in process safety or related roles within high-hazard industries.
  • Expertise in process safety techniques and risk management tools, particularly HAZOP.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Experience and willingness to further develop skills in three or more of the following areas :

    • HAZOP study leadership

  • SIL determination (e.g., LOPA)
  • Human factors analysis
  • Fire protection systems
  • Process safety management and auditing
  • Safety reports for COMAH or offshore regulations
