Your role

We are looking for a hands-on Impact Analyst to support the Impact Measurement team, focusing on impact data quality, management and processing which is administered through various systems in FMO. The impact data includes deal data (related to Total committed portfolio and labelled amounts), ESG risk management data (including ESG risk and ESG performance related data) and customer impact data (GHG emissions, employment data and other). The correct administration of this data is crucial for the reporting of FMO results internally and externally.

Key Accountabilities

In this role you will work with colleagues from various departments. You will contribute to various reporting cycles and key processes.

  • Implementing disclosures of investments in FMO world map
  • Supporting the data collection process to ensure data coverage
  • Performing data quality controls in data administered in our Sustainability information System
  • Preparing datasets and management information and running analyses on impact and other key data.
  • Support in creating BI products (dashboards and reports) in PowerBI.

    Your team

    The Impact Measurement (IM) team is part of the Finance, Integrated Reporting, and Measurement (FIRM) department within FMO. The IM team identifies how impact and ESG can best be measured and implemented in our processes and systems.

    Furthermore, the team ensures that data can be used internally by different stakeholders, including investment teams, fund managers, and the Management Board, to monitor progress and inform decision-making to pioneer, develop and scale our investments.

    Your background

  • HBO or bachelor’s degree in finance, Administration or similar with strong affinity for data.
  • Experience with (data) administration, including large datasets in MS office
  • Experience with Power BI, including creating reports and dashboards.
  • Preferably some experience with SQL, such as writing queries to extract data from databases
  • High affinity with the values and mission of FMO
  • Analytically strong, pro-active, problem-solving attitude and a committed team player
  • High level of accuracy and an eye for details Service oriented
  • Self-starter, taking initiative
  • 2 years of relevant professional experience
  • Excellent in English, both written and spoken (another language is an advantage)
