Your role
Organizing and planning the incoming and outgoing flow of goods. Control of the goods (flow), taking care of all administrative activities including packing slips, waybills, pallet labels and other necessary documentation. You will be responsible for the correct registration of matters in the system used. And there for you need the proper compliance with laws, regulations, and company regulations in the field of quality, safety, and the environment (such as ISO).
You will have regularly contact with customers / suppliers / carriers about the deliveries and their changes and inaccuracies. You also ensure the correct mode of transport. You will be in close contact with the warehouse since they are the point of contact for drivers in the context of loading and unloading, checking the necessary documentation.
You should work accurate and have good communication skills. You take up tasks proactive and foresee problems which you will pick up, since the client requirements need to be met. There will be two loading docks and one overhead door via which we must process a yearly inbound volume of 6000 MT annually. Therefor scheduling skills are essential.
You constantly interact with other departments so that everything runs smoothly. You also have close contact with the Site Manager and supervisors because your work is an extension of the operational process. Has internal consultations mainly with the Sales, Warehouse, Finance, and Production departments. In addition, regular contact with other locations in connection with services and deliveries.
