Your Impact
As a Key Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping ADAMA’s market presence in Netherlands. Your mission is to develop and manage strategic relationships with key accounts, ensuring ADAMA’s solutions align with customer needs and market opportunities. You will drive commercial success, market expansion, and long-term partnerships, while collaborating with internal teams to optimise performance.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Management & Commercial Growth
- Own and execute key account plans to achieve sales, profitability, and growth targets.
- Develop long-term partnerships with key customers, ensuring ADAMA remains a preferred business partner.
- Collaborate with the Area Manager and Technical Support Managers to create and implement market approach strategies.
- Identify and capitalise on market opportunities, ensuring ADAMA stays ahead of competitors.
- Work closely with internal teams, including Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain, to deliver optimal customer solutions.
- Realize the commercial objectives related to an account (P&L and qualitative).
Market Intelligence & Business Development
Stay ahead of market trends, identifying emerging opportunities and challenges.Provide insights and recommendations to help shape ADAMA’s regional commercial strategy.Represent ADAMA in industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to enhance brand awareness.Stakeholder Engagement & Negotiation
Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with distributors, retailers, and growers.Negotiate contracts, pricing structures, and promotional activities in alignment with business objectives.Act as a trusted advisor to key customers, ensuring their needs are met while driving ADAMA’s business goals.Who You Are – Key Qualifications
Education & Experience
BSc or higher in a Commercial, Business, or Agricultural-related field.5+ years of experience in the crop protection market, with a strong track record in sales and key account management.Proven ability to manage and grow strategic accounts, delivering measurable business impact.Commercial Acumen – Strong ability to drive revenue growth and market expansion.Negotiation & Relationship Building – Skilled in developing long-term partnerships and navigating complex sales environments.Market Insight – Deep understanding of the crop protection industry and ability to anticipate market trends.Communication & Influence – Excellent ability to communicate effectively with customers, internal teams, and stakeholders.Results-Oriented – A self-driven professional with a passion for achieving business goals.Language Skills – Fluent in Dutch and EnglishWhy Join ADAMA?
