I am looking for a PLC Software Engineer to join my client in Waalwijk, Netherlands.
As a Software Engineer in Control Technology, you will work on control technology from start to finish. This includes everything from conceptualising to testing. The projects range from small to large and from national to international, ensuring no two days are the same. You'll work independently at times and collaboratively in project teams at others. You'll discuss diverse client requirements and seek solutions together. You will also tackle complex issues and faults, using your expertise to surprise the clients.
All machine systems are initially built in my client's workshop and later installed on-site. Often, you will be the final person on-site to ensure not only the machine control but everything about the machine functions correctly. Plenty of responsibility, variety, and contacts await you!
You will be responsible for the selection, construction, and operation of machine controls, ranging from small to large projects . Your daily tasks will include :
- Programming complete machine controls, including safety and HMI.
- Commissioning machines and setting up dynamic systems.
- Contributing to the preparation of the electrical design.
- Resolving complex faults and providing technical support to colleagues on-site, even when these fall outside control technology (e.g., bug tracking in PC software and data analysis from databases).
- Thinking about structural improvements in control as well as broader areas (mechanical, electrical, and process-related).
- If you wish to develop further in hardware / electrical areas, we encourage it!
You can expect :
