Your new role

Ramboll Netherlands is looking for a capable and resourceful team leader for our CST services. This is a great opportunity to join an experienced team with exciting projects, to further develop a variety of skills, and build a successful career within the environmental consultancy sector.

Your key responsibilities will be :

  • Leading the Ramboll team for CST services.
  • Confident pro-active leadership role with strong experience in strategy development, policies, and working with multinational clients
  • Pursuing and realizing opportunities (including active business development) with international clients or together with cross geographical / disciplinary teams.
  • Recognize core corporate permitting and compliance themes, identify key regulations / requirements, and preparing and maintaining the business plan regarding these services.
  • Act as key client manager and join in global key client teams to foster opportunities in the Netherlands and internationally.
  • Focus on quality of deliverables according to expectations of our (international) clients.
  • Coaching / mentoring other staff, planning of resources and growing the team in the Netherlands.
  • Having a role in further development of CST services, participating in international Ramboll business development teams.

Your new team

You will lead the CST Department of Ramboll Netherlands from our Delft office, where we are working on a variety of planning and permitting, feasibility studies and other support services for the industry and energy transitions. These include projects for the industrial sector including chemical, manufacturing, logistics, financial sector, and renewable energy including offshore wind parks, hydrogen generation, carbon capture & storage. You will play a key role in the Ramboll CST Benelux team (Dutch & Belgium offices) and collaborate with colleagues across Europe and globally, defining and delivering on multiple projects that involve significant international clients and other Ramboll divisions.

These include :

  • BSc or MSc education in Environmental Science, Earth Sciences, Land and Water Management, Physical Geography, or similar
  • Relevant work experience in consultancy at senior level (10 – 15 years)
  • Several years of experience as a team leader
  • Proven track record in client management, acquisition and business development
  • A thorough understanding of environmental regulations, permitting and compliance processes in the Netherlands
  • A high degree of independence, taking initiative, solution-oriented thinking
  • Outstanding project management capabilities and problem-solving skills
  • Very good communication skills (verbal and in writing) in Dutch and English
